37 years and counting!
All of our members are your neighbors.
In 1984, a group of Grosse Pointe Shores residents established an all-volunteer, non-profit organization.
Its mission: Personal Participation for Community Enhancement. Through the efforts of the group, that mission continues on today.
We meet at 7:00 pm at City Hall on the following Mondays. We'd love to see you there:
Nov. 15, 2021 (last meeting of the year)
January 10, March 21, May 9, July 11, Sept. 12 and Nov. 14, 2022

Events and Projects
Over $1.5 million spent in improvements and beautification projects for our city!
Through your generous donations and gifts, we have been able to fund so many beautification and enhancement projects around our fabulous city...
The park splash pad, pavilion, playscape, new tennis, basketball and pickleball courts, barbecue
grills, and paved river walks...
The Schroeder Field House and Vernier bell tower...
Over 1,000 tree plantings, landscaped medians, shoreline garden scapes, and cast iron light posts...
The list goes on, and yes, the Grosse Pointe Shores Improvement Foundation did all that and more!
